iPad social media reading app Flipboard has released updates and new features that make the app even more of a tablet newsstand, Bloomberg Businessweek reported Thursday.
Flipboard is now able to pull an unlimited number of RSS feeds from content publishers or websites. Users can then aggregate them to browse even thousands of sources. The app also now has a content guide to make it easier to search across sources, and it also recommends content from its partners, such as The Economist.
Apple had already named Flipboard the Best iPad App of 2010, and the new updates only promise to make it more useful, appolicious reported.
The app has also added a LinkedIn section, so users can access stories recommended by their business contacts.
