What derails product development projects? According to 53 percent of the 2014 Media
Growth Study’s respondents, the most popular reason is that there are
unreasonable expectations early in the development cycle of a product. This is
followed by 44 percent saying there is insufficient investment in user
experience; 41 percent reporting insufficient investment in technology
development or purchase; and 29 percent saying they believe there is
insufficient investment in skills and training.
