Photo sharing surging on social media: Study

Photo sharing has grown exponentially with the introduction of new multimedia sharing sites like Snapchat and Instagram, and with the surge of sharing behaviours on more established sites like Flickr, Facebook and WhatsApp, according to Mary Meeker’s Internet Trends 2014. Photo sharing is expected to sextuple from 2012 to 2014, with the biggest photo sharing contributions from Snapchat, WhatsApp and Facebook.
